I am first and foremost, a spiritual being. I find joy in the process of looking deep within myself to the deepest wisdom of my being. I am a seeker, and I have explored many paths during this search.  I look within forging a connection with my innermost being, and remember that we are all connected.

I am also an artist. I sing, write, act. I teach and listen, and listen
and teach. I see myself as a healer using communication as my healing modality. I am mother, lover, sister, friend. I am a fiery, loving, independent, deeply feeling, sensual and passionate woman. At moments I can be shy or reserved, and others, silly. I love to be happy, to laugh, to share, to learn, to know.

I enjoy spending time in nature and in meditative type pursuits. I have come home to the green trees of the old south. I especially love trees, rivers, and flowers.  I love to read, and have a voracious appetite for it. I enjoy listening to music (almost all kinds), though I play piano. I love computers, and learning. Though I am quite outgoing I prefer to spend time alone and sometimes with small intimate groups of people (as opposed to large crowds). I am very curious and eager to understand the whys and hows of things and people. I am a loyal and compassionate woman, intense, dramatic, multi-talented, spiritual, intelligent. I value friendships of quality and depth. I love life and living.

I find compassion an attractive quality in human beings, maybe because it's a quality I have in abundance. I often lament the dearth of kindness in the world, as well as the abundance of cruelty. I like to know people who think about things, who are self-aware, and kind-hearted. I am always looking forward to making new global friendships. Because I consider myself a citizen of the world, I don't take friendship lightly. And there are no national or international borders around my heart.
